Executive Briefing: Texas Virtual School Network (TXVSN)

    The Executive Briefing provides an update on the implementation and recent legislative changes involving the Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN). In the general session, participants will also learn about the process for students in Texas districts and open enrollment charter schools to receive courses, understand Texas definition of an electronic course, and related distance learning code. Breakout sessions will provide a look at approved courses from the TxVSN catalog, online teacher preparation requirements, virtual learning planning process, and how to develop rigorous online courses.
