Accountability and Learning in a 21st Century Enviroment - How to Use the Newest Technology in the Classroom - ALT Session -9109

The current world crises are a reminder that business as usual in all facets of life is no longer applicable. Yet, our education system continues on the same path despite the dire consequences that may result from this action. Leadership in the flat world, as described by Thomas Friedman in his book The World Is Flat, requires different strategies. Educators need to focus on principles that have made our nation great and capitalize on technology resources that insure every student has a chance to reach his or her optimum potential. This session will offer school administrators the opportunity to learn of technological best practices that will inspire them to take the leap into the 21st Century.
