The Texas State Historical Association and the Region 10 Educatlon Service Center are proud to present the Energizing Texas History Conference, November 7-8, 2013 to be held at the Old Red Museum of Dallas county History and Culture in downtown Dallas, Texas. This event, for 4th and 7th grade Texas history educators, will focus on the history of Texas from 1836 through the turn of the century. Teachers will be able to choose from a variety of breakout sessions addressing historical content, geography, economics, civics, teaching strategies, and resources. The Texas State Historical Association and Region 10 strive to provide the best quality staff development opportunity possible. We have scheduled a lunch speaker for both days of the workshop.
