Intel Teach Thinking with Technology Master Teacher Course- November 3-6, 2009

Using the Intel Teach train-the trainer model, participants completing this course become certified Thinking with Technology Master Teachers and return to their districts to train a minimum of 10 participant teachers. You must have approval from your district to participate. The Intel Teach Thinking with Technology Course offers teachers an opportunity to enhance technology skills and promote higher-order thinking. This modular course provides face-to-face, hands-on experiences with online thinking tools that engage students and help them to communicate their understanding of complex concepts. Each tool features an online workspace where students create and save visual representations of their thinking. Through Thinking with Technology, teachers learn instructional strategies for addressing and assessing thinking skills, using technology to support deeper understanding of core content. The goal is for teachers to leave prepared to effectively implement a ready-to-use project that engages students and helps them to communicate their understanding of complex concepts.
